RALLY PARTICIPANTS TAKEN IN POLICE STATIONS
On Friday night, Republic party issued a statement saying the rally participants, especially those carrying banners during the rally, had been taken in police stations after the event.{BR} “Our efforts to obtain explanation or information produced little effect. ANOTHER RALLY SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY
The opposition staged protest ended with sit-in. Opposition leaders are among those participating in the action at Liberty Square.{BR} One of them, Albert Bazeyan, said Liberty Square turned into the movement center. Another rally is announced to be held tomorrow at 18:00 to keep people in touch with the movement development.
COMMUNIST PARTY, AZATAZRKUM ORGANISATION JOIN THE OPPOSITION
Armenian Communist Party joined today’s rally staged by the Justice and the National Unity.{BR} Speaking at the rally, Communist Party’s Secretary Ruben Tovmasyan said the current leadership of the republic must be ousted from power without delay.
