On Friday, Armenian People Party Press-Secretary Ruzan Khachatryan told journalists the police had stopped buses en rout from Armenia’s Artashat town and nearby villages to Yerevan throughout past thee days to bar people from attending the opposition rally. However, they intend to come to Armenian capital on foot.

Commenting on government-leaning Progressive Youth Party’s intention to interfere in the rally, Khachatryan said she found it wrong to do so and added she feared provocations might overshadow the event.
