COALITION FOILING PARLIAMENT ACTIVITY

Most probably, Parliament activity won’t take place this week. 15 MPs have been registered today. Coalition aims to frustrate Parliament works in order to hamper unnecessary tension so that the protestors don’t come to Parliament building.

According to Galust Sahakyan, Chair of “Republican Party of Armenia”, the action of Coalition is coordinated /probably with Robert Kocharyan/.

Parliament Vice-Speaker Vahan Hovhannissyan stated that it is needless to talk about boycott since any MP has the right to partake or refuse participation in Parliament session.

As to the possible solicitation by General Prosecutor over depriving MPs in Opposition from deputy immunity, Hovhannissyan says it may happen anytime. ”But I am sure the matter won’t come to it”.
