Support A1+!Gevorg Mesropyan, previously convict and Arthur Mangasarov who reside in Moscow were arrested for illegal bearing of arms during the Opposition rally in Freedom Square on April 9.
According to the statement of Information Department of General Office of Prosecutor, one of Armenian Opposition MPs hired 2 criminals for large sums giving them unlawfully held pistols.
”On April 9, 2004, at 4:00 PM the armed criminals got prepared to shoot to different directions at the meeting, thus causing panic among the protestors and to commit terror”, the statement says, adding that the arrested confessed the fact.
