BORDYUJA LEFT FROM ARMENIA
Support A1+!Before leaving Armenia Nikolai Bordyuja, Secretary General of CIS Collective Security Council, met journalists. He introduced the results of his visit laconically. Bordyuja informed the aim of his visit was preparation for the session of CIS Collective Security Council, which will take place in Astana in June.
He met the force Ministers – Serj Sargssyan, Hayk Harutyunyan and Carlos Petrosyan. Mr Bordyuja called the situation in Caucasus as stable. Of course, there are destabilizing factors but they don’t cause alarm.
According to Bordyuja, terrorism, organized crime and drugs are the gravest problems endangering the region, including Caucasus.
”Through cooperation with NATO CIS Organization of Collective Security Contract aims to double the efforts for fighting against the evil”. He said that intensification of Russia’s relations with NATO aims to jointly struggle for providing stability in the region.
Commenting on the marks made by famous politician Sergey Markov over coolness of the relations between Kremlin and Robert Kocharyan Mr Bordyuja reminded that Armenia is one of the most active members of CIS Organization of Collective Security Contract. ”I am aware of the attitude of Russia’s high leadership towards Armenia. Both states are interested in bilateral cooperation”.
We asked Bordyuja how he appraised the inner policy of Armenia. He said the rallies are a civilized manner of fight and there is nothing bad in them.
