Lawyer: Manvel Grigoryan's health condition is extremely poor
Arsen Mkrtchyan, the lawyer of member of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) parliamentary faction, General Manvel Grigoryan warns that General's health condition is extremely poor and gets worse day by day. According to the lawyer, the only consolation is that the body conducting the proceedings assigned an expert examination. "I hope that in the near future, after receiving the results of that expertise, the body conducting the proceedings will make the appropriate decision. I think no doctor in Armenia will doubt that Manvel Grigoryan's illness is incompatible with detention," says the lawyer. "Manvel Grigoryan, who is in Yerevan-Kentron penitentiary, has no complaints about medical care. "The material-technical base and medical staff of the penitentiary serve its purpose, but it is not enough to keep the situation stable," adds Arsen Mkrtchyan. According to him, no person can receive chemotherapy in some penitentiaries.
