New modern electric trains in Armenia (video)
RA Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Vahan Martirosyan visited the Yerevan locomotive depot to get acquainted with the technical possibilities of the new, up-to-date and high-quality electric trains brought from Russia to Armenia. The electric train is comfortable for all, including the passengers with wheelchairs. It has also elevators, which helps passengers with wheelchairs climb and dive with them. The two-wagon electric train has 129 seats, furnished with comfortable chairs. The electric train is still in the test phase. The drivers will also be trained. It is scheduled to start the use of these electric trains in 2018.
