Senor Hasratyan: Situation is calm on the border (video)
At present, the situation on the Artsakh-Azerbaijan border is relatively calm at this moment, the spokesman for the Artsakh Defense Ministry told A1+. For the first time since the April War of 2016, Azerbaijan fired TR-107 multiple rocket launchers across the southern direction of the frontline on July 4. “It was another act of provocation by Azerbaijan which received an adequate response,” says Senor Hasratyan. Azerbaijani sources reported that yesterday Armenian troops fired 82mm and 120mm mortars in their direction. Moreover, Azerbaijan says it had victims among civilian population in Fizuli region and even gives the names of two persons. Senor Hasratyan does not rule out large-scale actions. “I think the war can resume at any moment. I am obligated to evaluate the situation in this way.”
