The RA NA Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) faction member Hamlet Harutyunyan has heard of Facebook posts, which are paid from state budget, for the first time: “I am personally against Facebook, because there is so much nonsense.” AMD 15 000 for each post is not a bad idea. Hamlet Harutyunyan will maybe start thinking about signing up into Facebook, “So why do we work as lawmakers? We had better take that money and live.” This person, nevertheless, thinks that money spoils the people, especially dollar. We noted that for Facebook posts the Government pays in dram, “It is the same dollar turned into dram.” The RA NA HHK faction secretary Gagik Melikyan also doesn’t have Facebook account. But he is aware of paid posts. He thinks that there is nothing strange in it, people cover the activities of the Government, “I don’ think that it is for PR of Government, I think it simply aims at covering its activities.” The RA NA Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Head Naira Zohrabyan also isn’t registered on Facebook, but she knows what is going on- unworthy compliance. The Government wastes money, “Everybody understands that it is so called ordered, paid compliance. One compliance, for which AMD 15 000 is paid, brings forward thousands of opposing materials and for overcoming them another 15 000 drams are needed.” While approving 2016 or 2017 state budget, Naira Zohrabyan didn’t know that there are articles intended for people, who are paid for posting on Facebook and other social media. “Their coefficient of performance is equal to zero, if not to say that it directly harms the structure, over which all that fuss is created,” she says.
