Deputy mayors aren’t subject to dismissal
“When this year’s budget was discussed, all the possible large expenses had already been reduced,” said today Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, answering the question what will be the reductions of the Municipality after the statement of Prime Minister, “As for the budget of 2016, it has been determined minimal, and the projects intended for this year are mandatory projects, which must be implemented.” In reply to the question by “A1+” whether deputy mayors will be dismissed, Taron Margaryan answered, “The deputy mayors of Yerevan are appointed according to the law on Yerevan, according to that law Yerevan must have 4 deputy mayors. We have four.”
