How camel reached Sevan and dived in (video)
Divers at Underwater Research and Diving Armenian center are concerned with the problems of Lake Sevan. Research has been carried out in Lake Sevan for already 6 years. They note that one of the primary issues is pollution and advise the people in charge to pay attention to it, “Both the bottom of the lake and the shores are polluted. If nothing is done, the situation will worsen, we should keep it clean. We aim at developing diving in Armenia.” A few days ago the divers found a skull of a camel and a stone container in Lake Sevan, they intend to hand it in to scientists, “At first in the northern part of the island we found something unclear, then we were told that it is a skull of a camel, and it is already the second skull found in the territory of Shorzha from a depth of 18 meters,” said diver Vahe Melkonyan.
