Calf spotted in tailing dump
Residents in Mets Ayrum, Lori marz (province) spotted a calf’s body in the tailing dump in the area of Mets Ayrum. They have posted the photos on a Facebook page called “We are against tailing Dump construction.” Earlier this year, a photo action was launched in the social networks directed against the construction of Tchotchkan tailing dump in the area of Mets Ayrum and Tchotchkan communities. The action was initiated by Oleg Durgaryan, a council member of Mets Ayrum and head of the Community Mobilization and Support Center. To support the action, people were asked to take a photo with “NO TO TAILING DUMP CONSTRUCTION: SOS METS AYRUM” poster and share the photo in social networks.
