On the birthday of renowned statesman, political figure, late Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Andranik Margaryan, accompanied by the top leadership of the Republic, President Serzh Sargsyan visited today Komitas Pantheon in Yerevan to pay tribute to the memory of Andranik Margaryan.

On the occasion of Russia’s State holiday - Russia Day - Serzh Sargsyan visited today the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Armenia. Serzh Sargsyan congratulated RF Ambassador Ivan Volinkin, the embassy staff and the brotherly people of Russia, wishing them peace and prosperity.

Serzh Sargsyan received a delegation of participants of the annual meeting of the Belgium and the Netherlands-led subgroup of International Monetary Fund and World Bank.

On 5 June President Bako Sahakyan signed a decree relieving Artak Balayan of the post of adviser to the President - head of the economic department upon his own request in connection with getting a new job.

The alleged abduction and illegal arbitrary detention of Azerbaijani nationals, including human rights defenders, residing in Georgia followed by their arrest and prosecution in Azerbaijan, demands swift, thorough and transparent investigation.
