Aram Khachaturian International competition-WFIMC member
At the 57th General Assembly of the World Federation of International Music Competitions (WFIMC) in Tel Aviv, held from 9th to 12th May, Aram Khachaturian International Competition was elected a member of WFIMC. Now Aram Khachaturian International Competition is a member of an established and prestigious musical family, members of which are such famous competitions like Tchaikovsky Competition, Queen Elizabeth Competition in Brussels, the Montreal International Musical Competition.
World Federation of International Music Competitions was founded in 1957. Today, its membership includes 120 leading music competitions in the world. WFIMC goal is to identify promising and talented young musicians.
The participation of Aram Khachaturian International Competition in WFIMC is a great honor. It opens new perspectives and is another step on the way to present Armenian culture to the world.
