Armenia, Finland interested in deepening ties
Finland's newly appointed Ambassador to Armenia Christer Michelsson (residence in Helsinki) handed the copies of credentials to Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.
The Armenian official welcomed the envoy on his post and expressed hope for further development of ties between Armenia and Finland in different sectors.
Minister Nalbandian stressed that Armenia is interested in deepening dialogue with Finland by organising high-level bilateral visits and consultations.
The Finish envoy, in turn, stressed the importance of cooperation with Armenia in the framework of Eastern Partnership program.
During the meeting, the interlocutors also referred to a number of regional and international issues.
