A large number of families in Armenia's second largest city, Gyumri, still live in temporary shelters. Great are among them elderly people who live alone in run-down wooden shacks that are in urgent need of repair.

Gyumri-based Shirak Center NGO has visited 75-year-old Astghik Asatryan who lives in such a shack on the outskirts of the city.
