Monitoring toward Askeran
The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs will cross the line of contact
According to a previously reached agreement with the authorities of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, on July 11 the OSCE mission will conduct a planned monitoring toward Askeran at the line of contact of the NKR and Azerbaijani armed forces.
The monitoring group from the positions of the NKR Defense Army will include field assistants to the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Antal Herdich (Hungary) and Irzhi Aberlen (Czech Republic).
Field assistants to the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Kristo Kristov (Bulgaria) and William Prayor (Great Britain) will conduct the monitoring from the opposite side of the line of contact.
It is planned that during the monitoring, the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs will cross the line of contact during their next visit to the region.
The monitoring mission from the Karabakhi side will be accompanied by representatives of the NKR Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense.
