Hyatt Hotel to be built in Yerevan
The Mayor of Yerevan had a meeting with Vice-President of Hyatt International in Europe and Central Asia.
Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan discussed Hyatt International's investment programs in Yerevan with the working group led by Vice-President of Hyatt International in Europe and Central Asia Gebkhard Rayner.
The mayor welcomed the construction of the Hyatt Hotel in Yerevan, which is the company's first investment program in Yerevan. "I would like to express my satisfaction to you for entering the market in Armenia, particularly Yerevan. It is truly important for us to see the presence of the internationally recognized company in Yerevan, which, in its turn, will serve as an impetus for the development of tourism in our capital," Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan mentioned.
Vice-President of Hyatt International in Europe and Central Asia Gebkhard Rayner attached importance to the construction of Hyatt Hotel in Yerevan from the angle of strategy since that would be the first sign of the company's presence in the region. In response, Mayor Taron Margaryan mentioned that Yerevan Municipality would do its best to show support for the successful implementation of the predetermined programs.
Hyatt International's partner in Armenia, businessman Samvel Sargsyan assured that their partnership envisaged the implementation of ongoing programs in Yerevan.
"We have many plans and programs in the field of tourism that also envisage the creation of new infrastructures. The first hotel will open by the end of this year and we will see what kinds of accommodations the hotel will offer those visiting Yerevan," the businessman mentioned.
