GERMAN PROGRAM TO SAVE ARMENIAN ELECTIONS
Support A1+!Armenian Prime-Minister Andranik Margaryan met with Hovik Abrahamyan, Minister for Regional Management and Operation Matters, Hans Vulf Bartels, German Ambassador to Armenia, Detlef Dix, the Manager of the German office, implementing support programs in Armenia, and managers of cities’ communities as well. The process of establishing information centres in Armenian cities’ communities by the German Company in the “Communities Development Boost” program framework was discussed at the meeting.
Andranik Margaryan said the programs would promote not only current problems solution, but also key republic-wide problems solution. It should be mentioned that most vulnerable issue, relating to elections, is the trustworthiness of ballot lists. In this connection, the Prime Minister expressed the hope that the computers, German program pledges to the communities, would give an opportunity to reach some progress in the autumn elections.
