PRIME MINISTER – ORDINARY TOILER
Support A1+!Today Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan rendered a press conference,e as already 5 years have passed since he was appointed to the post. He presented the index registered during this period and touched upon the policy carried out in the economic, tax and customs fields as well as the development of infrastructures and investments in a number of other fields.
The Prime Minister said that the Gross Domestic Product growth made 10.5% in 2000-2004, what is twice higher that in 1995-1999. As the principal preconditions for the economic growth he noted the improvement of the business and investments fields, the increase of the integration into the international economy as well as efficient management. It is important that Armenia is among the countries with the highest rate of growth.
The Prime Minister says there are plenty of issues concerning him at present. He wants to provide worthy life for the old aged and make the country prosperous. After work he usually goes home to spend some time with his family like an ordinary toiler.
