”The issue of starting negotiations with Turkey over its membership with European Union will be settled positively on December 17”, politician Alexander Iskandaryan supposes, adding that there will be demands in that resolution. Under his forecasts, if it is not made, by pressure of powers in Turkey against EU membership the democratic reforms will be stoped.

Besides, EU is now accused of being a Christian club. At present EU couldn’t find a better state than Turkey in the Islamite world, taking into account its territory, geographical location, authority in the Moslem world etc.

Iskandaryan thinks Turkey will become an EU member.
