BORDER VILLAGE OF KARTSAKH IS UNPROTECTED

Unprotected section of Georgian Armenians-dominated territory of Javakhk along Georgian-Turkish border arouses concern. More vulnerable spot is Akhalkalaki province’s village of Kartsakh sitting in immediate vicinity to the border.

In recent months, when Georgian border checkpoint began receiving electric power from Turkish checkpoint, Turkey’s citizens were given right to cross the border without formal permission.

Turks presence in Kartsakh has become commonplace. As a rule, they carry guns with them. Villagers fears the guns can be used.

If state border is so fragile and everybody can cross it without resistance, what the use of efforts to solve internal problems, A-Info news agency says quoting a villager of Kartsakh.
