ARF MEMBER COMMENTING UPON ARMENIA-TURKEY RELATIONS
Support A1+!”Armenian-Turkish reconciliation, opening of the Armenia-Turkey frontier is a false agenda as long as Turkey refutes the fact of Genocide”, Hrant Margaryan, ARF Bureau representative announced at the 29th conference of ARF.
He is sure that Turkey doesn’t seek reconciliation, “it wishes to cause split that way”. He also thinks that the present Turkey is the same one which masterminded and committed the Genocide. ARF aims to continue fighting and pressing upon Turkey “till the international recognition of the Genocide fact”.
ARF isn’t going to make the Genocide fact a bargain matter. “Let the super states finance the theatre for Armenian-Turkish reconciliation secretly or obviously. But they can’t impose Turkey on our region at the expense of our rights and memory”, Margaryan announced.
ARF is not against but not for, either
ARF is sure that Armenian-Azerbaijani relations must be regulated around the negotiation table. But Hrant Margaryan thinks that the present situation in Artsakh is to be considered the basis for the talks.
”Aren’t the recent contradictious stances and the policy of dragging out the solution of the problem by Azerbaijan enough to make sure that it’s time to make a statement over NKR super power?", ARF representative says. He says that the liberated territories are the part of NKR.
Now ARF is a part of the coalition government. Hrant Margaryan thinks that ARF has realized that its role in this Government will be limited.
Mr Margaryan expressed dissatisfaction that ARF is unjustly responsible for all the spheres it doesn’t deal with. ARF is proud of the Ministers and Marz heads who are ARF members. But ARF has yet work to do as long as there is poverty and injustice in Armenia.
