On Friday,100 Armenians leaving in Georgian province of Tsalka rushed into the office of the head of the local administration Eldar Christiani and tried to beat him. Thanks to the police interference the attack was prevented, “Novosti” Russian news agency reports.

Armenians demand Christiani’s resignation. Armenians and resettled Swans reside in Tsalka. The incident is believed sparked by ethnic tension.
