THE CONSTITUTIONAL REFORMS WERE THE INITIATIVE OF HAYRIKYAN

“We will pass these reforms and will attend to the new ones”, Hayrikyan told at the press conference today. He had initiated the Constitutional reforms.

“I asked Kocharyan: “Do you want to gain my votes and to become a legitimate president?” “Yes, I want. What do you want instead?” he said .

”I wished to become neither a minister, nor a district head. I asked for Constitutional reforms alone. He agreed. But a year passed, and now he has forgotten his promise “.

Hayrikyan asserts if the Constitutional reforms were falsified by 10% like the elections, they would pass . Kocharyan didn’t need either Constitutional or the reforms.

If one is really a state official, i.e, realises the Constitutional reforms to be equivalent to improvement of the national values, he will never say: “If you don’t need it, I don’t need it, either” .

At the first round of the elections Kocharyan followed his personal interests. The interests of his friends will guide him in the next one. According to Hayrikyan, Authorities elected by fraud can’t govern for 3-4 years. Taking his words for reality, one can conclude that the previous elections were quite legal.
