CHRISTIAN-DEMOCRATIC UNION LEADER SPEAKING AT PRESS CONFERENCE

Politics

"Mass Media has displayed more unbiased stance during election campaigning in parliamentary elections than in presidential elections”, chair of Armenian Christian-Democratic Union Khosrov Harutyunyan said at the news conference held Thursday in the House of Journalists.

He noted that his party list is better than other parties’ lists. Harutyunyan said the party takes the parliamentary election as political monitoring. The union’s program prompted public interest, he said. The party leader thinks constitutional amendments need to be made later because current constitution is not so bad. Besides, it is too early to hold referendum in the atmosphere of overwhelming unawareness of that issue.

Khosrov Harutyunyan doesn’t believe in surveys, though according to his anticipation, the union will come sixth in parliamentary election poll after Dashnak, Republican and Orinats Erkir parties and Justice and National Unity alliances.
