The third governmental building was today launched to exploitation in Yerevan. At the grand measure president Robert Kocharyan announced: “By constructing the third governmental building Republic Square got complete appearance proper to the town planning style of Yerevan” .

According to him, Ministry of Education and Science, Culture, Youth and Sport Ministry, Health Ministry, Social Welfare Ministry, Ministry for Ecology, Agriculture and Town Planning Ministries will be located in that building. Robert Kocharyan stated thanks to relocation of them into one building 180 million drams or 320.000 $ will annually be saved.

As Khachatur Zakaryan, Chairman of “International Business Centre” CJSC, having finished erection of the unaccomplished building, says about 2 million $ were invested to carry construction through, and Armenian government is to compensate them through the buildings for Ministry of Education and Science, Health Ministry, and Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, and not by money.
