AUTHORITIES DISCREDIT ARMENIA
Support A1+!Authorities resort to hooliganism. To block the Opposition rally today law-enforcement bodies had seized the necessary technical equipment for holding the rally – microphones and loud speakers. The owners of the equipment, 3 peoples, were taken to IA Department.
When the meeting organisers tried to obtain equipment in other ways, it turned out electricity supply of the whole block was disconnected. But they found another solution to the problem.
“These steps are result of agony of the illegal Authorities. No dictator ever succeeded to keep his power by provocation and staying behind the shields of soldiers” , Vartan Khachatryan, secretary of “Socialistic Armenia” Union announced.
He thinks Opposition of Armenia tries to keep prestige of our country high as far as possible. “And we face the contrary by Authorities. They damage reputation of Armenia in the eyes of the world” .
It was stated once more at the meeting the whole world knows how elections in Armenia were falsified. “Opposition will go towards change of Authorities up to the end because everybody knows who are beside the people and who are by the antidemocratic regime” .
Aram Sargssyan and Stepan Demirchyan made speeches, too.
Demirchyan said rather serious arguments were introduced to CC and it is very important for statehood that CC considers the case impartially.
At the end it was announced the ordinary rally will take place on April 7, at 4:00 PM. On April 9, at 11:00 AM people will gather at Matenadaran to decide how to treat the formal vow of Kocharyan.
