COMMUNIST PARTY ON PARLIAMENTARY ELECTION FOOTING
Support A1+!Preparations for parliamentary elections generated considerable discord within Armenian Communist Party. The think is that the party two members – Khoren Sargssyan and Norik Petrossyan – were placed at not so decent position in the party’s list of candidates they think they deserve.
The story had dramatic development, when one of “Communist” newspaper numbers that contained unfavourable for the party leadership article was taken from printing office. Frunze Kharatyan, a member of the party, said commenting on the incident: “This is our newspaper. So, we have right to do what we want”.
It is worth to be mentioned that the newspaper’s Editor-in-Chief is Norik Petrossyan.
Frunze Kharatyan didn’t rule out that these two out-of-favour Communists would be expelled from the party before upcoming parliamentary elections.
