Support A1+!In a week, it will become clear whom to support in upcoming presidential elections Raffi Hovhannissyan, the head of the Armenian Center for National and International Studies. Hovhannissyan is a presidential candidate who recently withdrew from the race.
“Heritage” new union is created in the republic, the head of the Center announced at the meeting held in Writers House today. The union, he says, intends to be involved in all political processes including presidential and parliamentary elections.
Delegates from Armenia’s different districts attended the meeting not only to become members of the newly-created union but also to say Hovhannissyan that they share his ideas and trust him very much. They said they are willing to cast votes for him in the next presidential elections to be held five years later.
Detailed description of the court hearing of Hovhannissyan’s motion on granting him Armenia’s citizenship from 1991 in court was presented at the meeting.
Lawyers say that lawsuit was a real combat though not a single plaintiff’s argument was denied. Armenian court merely fulfilled the authorities’ order. Hovhannissyan’s attorneys intend to dispute the court decision in Appeal Court.
Raffi Hovhannissyan said he has no intention to leave the country whatever decision the Court of Appeal would make, as people are waiting for a new type of political activists. “We will become this force”, the “Heritage” founder said.
