3 PARTIES, PROPOSING CANDIDATES, WERE REGISTERED

Today Central Election Committee registered 3 Parties, proposing candidates for Armenian presidency - People’s Party of Armenia, nominating Stepan Demirchyan, Union for Self-Determination, nominating Paruyr Hayrikyan and National Unity, proposing Artashes Geghamyan .

CEC made a decision over introducing biographical information about candidates by the empowered persons .

Biographical information will be published in “Republic of Armenia” Daily within 3 days after data introducing expiry.

CEC also discussed the issue on how many pages the biographical data of candidates must consist of. The Committee decided to let the candidates use their own discretion for biography volume .
