ARTASHES GEGHAMYAN ABOUT CRISIS AND ROBERT KOCHARYAN
Support A1+!"There is political, social and moral crisis in Armenia" ,- Artashes Geghamyan, the head of "National Unity" party says. According to him, political conflict is strained, especially after October the 27-th revolution / he called so the terrorism action on 27, October, 1999 /. "After the revolution on 27, October the Parliamentary majority stopped to be the bearer of the standpoints of people" .
Mr Geghamyan thinks there are 3 sorts of crisis - governmental, parliamentary and constitutional . People don't trust the Government as it doesn't execute the laws approved by Parliament. Parliament doesn't adopt laws which proceed from the interests of people for the simple reason that the Parliamentary majority doesn't represent interests of people. And finally, Constitution is infringed all the time , Geghamyan says and cites an example: "Some MPs, including me, tried to discuss the issue on president's impeachment within law. But president Robert Kocharyan wrecked the discussion through an anti-constitutional way ".
Talking about that Armenian National Movement have become active in the pre-election period, Mr Geghamyan said Robert Kocharyan is of ANM and will do his best ANM holds the post of the president .
