Lars to close at night
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that all roads in Armenia were trafficable as of 10.00 a.m. Georgian Interior Ministry’s Emergencies Department reports that on July 16 the Upper Lars crossing will be open from 06.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. The highway will be close again in the evening hours and at night for security reasons. Upper Lars crossing, which serves as Armenia’s main trade route to Russia, closed for about two weeks in June after being blocked by a massive mudslide.
