Roza Tsarukyan: “It’s possible, as Pope is also Catholic” (video)
Mother of businessman lawmaker Gagik Tsarukyan has reasons to think that there are common grounds between her and Pope, “My mother is a Catholic, and as Pope is also Catholic it’s possible that something was conveyed through genes.” Maybe also for that reason Roza Tsarukyan is a philanthropist; she inherited that feature from her Catholic mother, who was a kind woman in the village,” recalls Mrs Tsarukyan, “She died at the age of 87, but her funeral was held as that of a woman at the age of 27.” Mrs Tsarukyan doesn’t know the life and biography of Pope and cannot say whether he is modest or pretends to be so. Besides, mother of Gagik Tsarukyan has her own philosophy, “Each person, who is born, is obliged to obey the rules of the nature and single out a share from his property for the poor.” On Sunday Mrs Tsarukyan came from Meghri to Gyumri in order not to miss Jesus Christ’s words in Latin from the lips of Pope Francis. Who is Roza Tsarukyan without God? “Without God I would not be sitting here.” God is also involved in the fertility of Mrs Tsarukyan’s gardens and bees, but here again life philosophy helps her not to get too excited, “People tell me, Mrs Roza, do you know how fertile the harvest will be, I answer, it isn’t known yet, it’s the will of Lord, it’s possible that the harvest is fertile, or maybe some southern wind approaches.” By the way, Roza Tsarukyan states that she will never let her son, Gagik Tsarukyan, be involved in politics again, “I haven’t seen any danger, please, don’t ask me about politics, I am not interested in any issue, I am a philanthropist.”
