Soldier was fatally injured in football game
The Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia says soldier Artur Arakelyan (born in 1996) died in the military hospital in Stepanakert at around 7.40pm, April 9. He was taken to hospital on April 5 with an open head injury, hypovolemic shock and in a coma. The Investigative Committee says that Arakelyan fell while hanging from a football goalpost and that the bar collapsed, hitting the solider on his head. He reportedly died from hypovolemic shock. An investigation is underway.
