Will laundry save Afrikyans house? (video)
Let our laundry get dry: near Afrikyans house (built at the end of 19th century) some young people organized unique action. They hang the laundry from the building. “The laundry is to show that this building lives and breaths, there are people and our memory mustn’t be removed,”- noted young people. Though they are sure that the laundry will be removed today, many people will see it. Afrikyans building has been recognized Eminent Domain and “Millennium Construction” company, which bought it, is going to dismantle it in order to build an elite building. By the way, with Afrikyans resources drinking water was first brought to Yerevan in 1911.
