On April 27, in accordance with the arrangement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, the OSCE Mission conducted a planned monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan in the northern direction of the Talish village of the NKR Martakert region.

On April 27 a regular session of governmental committee coordinating the preparatory activities of May celebrations has been convened presided with the NKR DM, DA Commander, Lieutenant-General Movses Hakovyan. Members of government, heads of different departments and administrations, senior military servicemen took part in the session.

According to NKR DA operative data, on April 19-25, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire regime at the line of contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijan about 1200 times. Bako Sahakyan pointed out that sooner or later the Armenian Genocide would be recognized and condemned by the international community since such a crime could not remain unpunished forever.

According to NKR DA operative data, during April 22-23 overnight, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire regime at the line of contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijan about 150 times.

Serzh Sargsyan welcomed the dignitary to our country and thanked for his participation in the forum, which, according to the Armenian President, once again speaks of the sincere respect of the friendly Syrian people for the Armenian people.

The Artsakh Ministry of Defence reports that the situation remains tense along the frontline with Azerbaijan.

During the working visit, Mr Sahakyan will participate in “Eurasian Economic Prospects” international forum and attend the meeting of Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the CIS countries.
