Residents of six communities of Armenia's Armavir province, which suffered great damages from recent hailstroms, have again closed Yerevan-Armavir roadway demanding a meeting with the country's top officials.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan is presently negotiating with the desperate villagers who want a meeting with PM Tigran Sargsyan or Serzh Sargsyan, ARmavir-base ALT TV reports.

The recent hails have damaged the entire crop in these vulnerable communities. Many of the local residents have left their homes in search of work to be able to pay off the loans taken from banks for agricultural purposes.
