Special education programs in Stepanakert
On 3 April, President of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Republic, Bako Sahakyan, received delegations of Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) and American University of Armenia (AUA) to discuss implementation of a number projects in Artsakh.
Special attention was paid to the spheres of education and science. In this context, Bako Sahakyan highlighted the foundation of AUA special education programs in Stepanakert, rating them high from the viewpoint of developing science and education in the republic, application of progressive international experience, further strengthening the Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora trinity.
Member of the AGBU Central Board Vazgen Yakubyan, director of the organization's Armenian Representation Arpi Vardanyan, AUA President Bruce Boghosian and other officials partook at the meeting, reports the Central Information Department of Artsakh President's Press Office.
