Serviceman’s body found outside military unit
The body of the contract serviceman, who reportedly died in a Yerevan regiment earlier on Friday, was found outside the military unit.
The Nobareshen Police Department received the report at 10.00 a.m. and immediately sent a task force to the scene. Investigators of the Nobareshen and Erebuni departments are working on the site now. No more details are reported about the victim's identity and circumstances of his death.
Mary Sargsyan, senior officer of the RA Defense Ministry's Investigative Service, told A1+ that their group is also working on the site to find out the circumstances. Since the body was found outside the military unit, the MoD Investigative Service does not have the authority to investigate the case or publicize the details.
