Took photos with Sharmazanov
Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov had a meeting with a group of Diaspora Armenian schoolchildren and their parents today.
"You have come to your homeland. Armenia is the home of all Armenians around the world. There is a vast number of Armenians living abroad due to the Armenian Genocide perpetrated by the Ottoman Empire in the early 20th century, and we can never forget that. Nobody can guarantee that crimes like that will never happen again as long as that crime has not been condemned and recognized by the international community, and first and foremost, Turkey."
The NA Vice-Chairman called on the Diaspora Armenian children's parents to provide their children with an Armenian education and upbringing since those children will also join their brothers and sisters in achieving the nation's goals and building a strong and democratic Armenia.
The NA Vice-Chairman also took photos with the Diaspora Armenian schoolchildren and their parents at the National Assembly, reports the Department of Information and Public Relations of the National Assembly.
