School principal to be sued
The Shengavit division of the RA Police has instigated a criminal case in relation to a school principal's misuse of official powers, as well as the committal of official falsification and falsification of documents.
A study of the prepared materials showed that the principal of high school N 97 in Yerevan presented overtly false information in the certificate of secondary education through one of the schoolteachers, stating that R. Karapetyan had graduated from school N 36 after Raffi in Yerevan.
The study also showed that the school principal had received 700,000 dollars from R. Karapetyan's deceased father, H. Karapetyan for the above mentioned act.
In January 2012, R. Karapetyan presented the phony certificate of secondary education (an overtly false document) to the U.S. Embassy in Armenia. A criminal case has been instigated under Article 308 (1), Article 314 and Article 325 (1) of the RA Criminal Code. The preliminary investigation is underway, reports the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.
