Serzh Sargsyan introduces new police chief
Serzh Sargsyan personally introduced the newly appointed RA Chief of Police Vladimir Gasparyan to the police administration.
He mentioned that Alik Sargsyan had met his objectives, thanked him for that and informed the gathered that Alik Sargsyan had been appointed presidential advisor. In light of the appointment of the new chief of police, Serzh Sargsyan underlined that he believed the RA Police needed a chief like Vladimir Gasparyan. The president expressed confidence that the reforms in the police system would continue and that the people would feel more protected.
Alik Sargsyan expressed gratitude for the confidence and support that had been shown toward him and the police system throughout his term as chief of police. He also congratulated the newly appointed chief of police and wished him success.
Vladimir Gasparyan assured that the reforms would end in a short amount of time, the issues set forth would be properly solved and that the outcome would be the reinforcement of rule of law in society.
