Landslide traps cars in Armenia
Several cars were reportedly left under rock, gravel and mud after a landslide hit the 86th km of Vanadzor-Bagratashen highway, near Ayrum station, causing major traffic jam.
By the order of Prime Minister, an operative headquarters has been set up to specify the circlumstances. Work crews have left for the slide site to remove debris and help the trapped drivers.
Drivers are advised to take an alternative road which passes through Dilijan and Ijevan.
