RA MFA hosts consultations on dual-use items
Armenian-German consultations on the control of dual-use items were held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on August 29.
The Armenian delegation was comprised of representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Economy, the National Security Service, the State Revenue Committee and the Center for Nonproliferation Studies.
The German side was represented by the delegation of Germany's Federal Office for Economy and Export Control (BAFA), which is authorized to control the dual-use items.
During the meeting the parties discussed the legislative changes implemented in Armenia, the establishment of corresponding bodies, reference was made to the mechanisms of control of dual-use items, RA MFA press service reported.
