Armenia’s Ambassador presents steps taken by Armenia
Armenia's Ambassador to Netherlands Dzyunik Aghajanyan presented her credentials to the Director General of Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) Ahmet Uzumcu.
During the meeting, Mr. Uzumcu highly appreciated the cooperation between Armenia and the OPCW, saying that Armenia completely fulfilled its commitments.
Mr. Uzumcu presented the existing problems and ongoing reforms, stressing that active participation of member-states is a guarantee for success.
Aghajanyan presented Armenia's steps in carrying out the convention's provisions and stressed the importance of regional and international cooperation in fighting against chemical weapons proliferation, as well as elaboration of preventive measures.
