Medvedev congratulates Sargsyan
During a phone conversation, President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev congratulated and conveyed good wishes to Serzh Sargsyan on his birthday. The Russian President also sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Armenia in which it is particularly stated:
"Under your leadership, Armenia is moving forward through nation-building, social-economic reforms and the strengthening of positions in the international arena. You have truly become a famous political figure due to Armenia's stable and gradual development.
Your personal contribution to the development of the Armenian-Russian alliance is highly respected. I appreciate the atmosphere that has been shaped during our regular, effective meetings and contributes to constructive discussions on a broad range of bilateral and regional issues.
I am certain that our countries' inclination toward the deepening of interstate relations and the development of economic partnership, as well as the close coordination within the framework of regional groupings is the most important factor for strengthening the Armenian-Russian military partnership and maintaining peace and stability in the Transcaucasus."
Serzh Sargsyan turns 57 years old today.
