TV AND RADIO COMMITTEE ANNOUNCES FOR A NEW TENDER
Support A1+!The broadcasting licences for “Armenia TV” of Yerevan, “Lusaliq” TV Company of Charentsavan, “Shant” Radio Company of Gyumri, will expire in June.
TV and Radio National Committee made a decision to conduct a new tender for the above frequency ranges. “Armenia TV” broadcasts on the 25-th decimetre range. Tender will be of general orientation, there aren’t any special requests. The tender for the 32nd frequency in Charentsavan is of no special direction, either.
”Shant” is the first province radio station to be announced for a tender. Before Committee didn’t fix a licence payment for the province radio stations. It has been decided that a winning company will pay 125.000 drams as license payment. It is to state for comparison that Yerevan radio stations pay 200.000 drams.
The information about the tender in details will be published in “Republic of Armenia” Daily and be inserted into the new Internet site of the Committee, www.tvradio.am.
