On February 22 Levon Shahinyan, the ex-head of the RA Financial control administration, had been arrested. By the way, he was arrested 6 days after resigning by his own application. 3 days after the arrest the RA Ministry of Finance and Economics has decided to make an amendment.

"The RA Ministry of Finance and Economics announces that Levon Shahinyan, arrested on February 22, has on February 16 resigned from the post of the head of the RA Financial control administration by his own application and is no more a worker of the RA Ministry of Finance and Economics.

It must also be mentioned that Levon Shahinyan was arrested for violations in private activity, not state, as it was mentioned in the press", says the announcement of the Ministry.
