UKRAINIAN REVOLUTION AS THE LESSON FOR ARMENIAN OPPOSITION

”I have no concern that the Ukrainian version will reoccur in Armenia”, Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan has said at the press conference today. He thinks there are no conditions for that here.
According to him, the Ukrainian revolution put an end to pretensions of our Opposition since it became clear that the international observers accept or do not accept the results of elections not as a favour for anyone.
By the words of Oskanyan, the international community didn’t recognize the presidential election in Ukraine since “it didn’t reflect the will of people”. As to Armenia, the observers weren’t logical as “our elections reflected the will of people”.
Then why did Robert Kocharyan hurry to congratulate Yanukovich? Oskanyan said it is not forbidden by law since there is a central electoral committee, which has published the election results. When new elections take place and a new president is elected, Robert Kocharyan will congratulate the new one that time.
